The Alamo Professional Chapter of Engineers Without Borders is based in San Antonio, Texas. Founded in 2013 by employees of Southwest Research Institute as a way to utilize professional engineering and project management skills to help underdeveloped areas around the world. EWB-Alamo now has members from across the city and is open to all professionals in the greater San Antonio area.
Chapter meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month at 6:15 PM at Pape-Dawson Engineers located at 2000 NW Loop 410, San Antonio, TX 78213 (park in the back lot and enter the far right door past the shade area and large trees). Chapter meetings are open to all current members as well as professionals from the greater San Antonio area who are interested in learning more about the chapter's activities and/or joining the chapter.
